AEI/Generac SAE Meeting

About the Event:
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has long set standards for vehicle emissions. Consolidating five locations, the new home of the CARB Southern California Consolidation Project (SCCP) will be the largest and most advanced regulatory emissions testing and research facilities in the world – as well as the world’s first zero net energy (ZNE) facility of its type. Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is designing the $368 million, 380,000 square-foot facility in Riverside, CA, which is set to open in 2021. The building will house engine and chassis test cells, chemistry labs, and multiple floors of offices.
After the presentation, there will be a tour of Generac’s lab showcasing AEI technology including new test cells, Megatron exhaust, and their structures lab.
