EVENT POSTPONED

The health and well being of our members and friends is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed with our event hosts and sponsors to being responsive to the needs of our membership and friends as the situation evolves.

In response to this, Both SAE Milwaukee and HellermannTyton have decided to postpone the upcoming meeting on March 25^th.  We will monitor the situation and plan to reschedule as the health risk conditions improve.  We will also be monitoring the situation as we plan our April Event on the 2020 Corvette.

We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and adjust our planning and schedule accordingly. Thank you for your understanding.

About the Presenters:

Ed Dyer – vp of engineering

Ed was the first design engineer hired by “Tyton” Corporation and has been part of the HT Engineering team for 36 years and has worked in the manufacturing sector for 47 years. He also pioneered the HT brand of Lean design & manufacturing tagged; “Win” short for “World Class Excellence in Business.

Ed will present on HellermannTyton’s High Velocity Product Development.

Mike Miller – dir of product development engineering

Ed was the first design engineer hired by “Tyton” Corporation and has been part of the HT Engineering team for 36 years and has worked in the manufacturing sector for 47 years. He also pioneered the HT brand of Lean design & manufacturing tagged; “Win” short for “World Class Excellence in Business.

Mike will share how the HellermannTyton landscape looks today, and in the future, from an engineering perspective.

Melissa goecks – Validation and Reliability Testing Supervisor

Melissa has worked in the HT Validation & Reliability laboratory for eight years. She has ten years in product development laboratory experience overall and serves on test standards committees including the United States Council of Automotive Research (USCAR) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). She also is an active member of the Women Leaders Advisory Council for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Melissa will present on the criticality of a Validation & Reliability Testing role at HellermannTyton.
